In an emergency, do not use this form

If life or property is in immediate danger, call the Nigeria Police Force on 112 (or 767/112 in Lagos) right now. This page is monitored during office hours only and is not a substitute for the emergency services.

Report

What would you like to report?

Suspicious activity or a security concern

Something that does not look right — an unfamiliar vehicle, a break-in attempt, a threat made against a person or a community. Give the location, the time, and what you actually observed. Serious matters are passed to the police the same day.

Misconduct by a member of the Group

Extortion, assault, unlawful detention, harassment, drunkenness on duty, or partisan conduct. If you have the member’s name or registration number, include it — but report it even if you do not. Complaints go to the Provost Marshal, and where a crime is disclosed, to the police.

Someone impersonating a member

Every genuine member has a registration number, a numbered identity card, and a photograph on file at the state command. If someone claiming membership cannot produce identification, they are not a member. Report it — impersonation is a recurring problem and a serious one.

A request for money in our name

We do not charge for membership applications, and no member may collect levies, fines or “settlements” from the public. Any demand for money in our name is either misconduct or fraud. Report it with as much detail as you can.

Reporting anonymously

You may leave the contact fields blank. An anonymous report is still recorded and still acted on — but we cannot come back to you for detail, and we cannot tell you the outcome. If it is safe to leave a contact, please do.

What happens to your report

It is logged with a reference, assessed by the duty officer, and routed to the relevant state command or to the Provost Marshal. Matters disclosing a criminal offence are referred to the Nigeria Police Force. We do not disclose a complainant’s identity to the person complained about without the complainant’s knowledge.

Incident report

Street, landmark, market or ward — as precise as you can be.
Describe what you saw or experienced. Stick to what you know first-hand.

Contact details are optional. Leave them blank to report anonymously.

This form needs a destination

Nothing is transmitted yet. Given the sensitivity of these reports, wire it to a monitored mailbox or a serverless function over HTTPS — not to a shared inbox that many people can read. See README.md.
